दिशं प्राचीं समाश्रित्य हृष्टानां गच्छतां भृशम्‌ । रथनेमिस्वनाश्रैव श्रूयन्ते लोमहर्षणा:

Transliteration

diśaṁ prācīṁ samāśritya hṛṣṭānāṁ gacchatāṁ bhṛśam | rathanemisvanāś caiva śrūyante lomaharṣaṇāḥ ||

Translation

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—తూర్పు దిశను ఆశ్రయించి, ఉల్లాసంతో నిండిన పాండవ యోధులు అత్యంత వేగంగా సాగుతున్నారు; వారి రథచక్రాల రోమాంచక ధ్వనులు వినిపిస్తున్నాయి।
