दृढमूला वयं राज्ये मित्राणि परिगृह्म॒ च । सारवद्‌ विपुलं सैन्यं सत्कृत्य च दुरासदम्‌,(हमारी विजय होनेपर) हमलोग बहुत-से मित्रोंका संग्रह करके बलशाली, दुर्धर्ष एवं विशाल सेनाका पुरस्कार आदिके द्वारा सत्कार करते हुए इस राज्यपर अपनी जड़ जमा लेंगे

Transliteration

dṛḍhamūlā vayaṁ rājye mitrāṇi parigṛhya ca | sāravad vipulaṁ sainyaṁ satkṛtya ca durāsadam ||

Translation

దుర్యోధనుడు అన్నాడు—ఈ రాజ్యంలో మేము బలంగా పాతుకుపోతాము. అనేక మిత్రులను సమీకరించి, శక్తిమంతమైన, విస్తారమైన, దుర్జేయమైన సేనను సత్కరించి బహుమానాలతో గౌరవించి, మా స్థితిని అచంచలంగా చేసుకుంటాము.
