अध्याय ६४ — सभामध्ये क्रोध-निवारणम्
Restraint of wrath in the royal assembly
अहं कर्तेति विदुर मा च मंस्था मा नो नित्यं परुषाणीह वोच: । न त्वां पृच्छामि विदुर यद्धितं मे स्वस्ति क्षत्तर्मा तितिक्षून् क्षिणु त्वम्
ahaṃ karte iti vidura mā ca maṃsthā mā no nityaṃ paruṣāṇīha vocaḥ | na tvāṃ pṛcchāmi vidura yaddhitaṃ me svasti kṣattar mā titikṣūn kṣiṇu tvam ||
విదురా, ‘నేనే కర్తను’ అని అనుకోకు; ఇక్కడ మాతో నిత్యం కఠిన వచనాలు పలకవద్దు. విదురా, నాకు ఏది హితం అని నేను నిన్ను అడగడం లేదు. క్షత్తా, నీకు శుభం కలుగుగాక—వెళ్ళు; సహనశీలులైన, క్షమాశీలులైన వారిని సేవించు.
