गदां च भीमसेनाय प्रवरां प्रददौ तदा । देवदत्तं चार्जुनाय शड्खप्रवरमुत्तमम्,उसने उस समय वह श्रेष्ठ गदा भीमसेनको और देवदत्त नामक उत्तम शंख अर्जुनको भेंट कर दिया
gadāṁ ca bhīmasenāya pravarāṁ pradadau tadā | devadattaṁ cārjunāya śaṅkhapravaram uttamam ||
అప్పుడు అతడు భీమసేనునికి శ్రేష్ఠమైన గదను ఇచ్చి, అర్జునునికి ‘దేవదత్త’ అనే ఉత్తమమైన, శంఖాలలో శ్రేష్ఠమైన శంఖాన్ని బహూకరించాడు.
