Arjuna’s Northern Conquests and Tribute Collection
एवमुक्तस्तत: कृष्ण: प्रत्युवाच वृकोदरम् । त्वरयन् पुरुषव्याप्रो जरासंधवधेप्सया,उनके ऐसा कहनेपर पुरुषोत्तम श्रीकृष्णने जरासंधके वधके लिये भीमसेनको उत्तेजित करते हुए कहा--
evam uktas tataḥ kṛṣṇaḥ pratyuvāca vṛkodaram | tvarayan puruṣa-vyāghro jarāsandha-vadhepsayā ||
భీముడు అలా పలికినపుడు, పురుషవ్యాఘ్రుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుడు జరాసంధవధాభిలాషతో వృకోదరుని త్వరపడమని ప్రేరేపిస్తూ ప్రత్యుత్తరం పలికెను।
