Chapter 15: Counsel on Initiative vs. Renunciation in the Rajasuya Project (सभापर्व, अध्याय १५)

अहं हि तव दुर्धर्ष भुजवीर्याश्रय: प्रभो । नात्मानं बलिनं मन्ये त्वयि तस्माद्‌ विशड्किते,पापरहित महाभाग! हम भी जरासंधके भयसे तथा उसकी दुष्टतासे सदा शंकित रहते हैं। किसीसे परास्त न होनेवाले प्रभो! मैं तो आपके ही बाहुबलका भरोसा रखता हूँ। जब आप ही जरासंधसे शंकित हैं, तब तो मैं अपनेको उसके सामने कदापि बलवान्‌ नहीं मान सकता

ahaṃ hi tava durdharṣa bhujavīryāśrayaḥ prabho | nātmānaṃ balinaṃ manye tvayi tasmād viśaṅkite ||

ఓ ప్రభూ, దుర్ధర్షా! నేను మీ భుజబలాన్నే ఆశ్రయించాను. మీరు స్వయంగా అతని విషయంలో శంకితులై ఉన్నప్పుడు, అతని ఎదుట నేను నన్ను బలవంతుడిగా ఎప్పటికీ భావించను.
