Vasudeva–Arjuna Dialogue in the Aftermath of Dvārakā
अनुजममुर्महात्मानं पाण्डुपुत्रं धनंजयम् । उनके साथ घोड़े, बैल, गधे और ऊँटोंसे जुते हुए रथोंपर बैठकर शोकसे दुर्बल हुई वृष्णिवंशी वीरोंकी पत्नियाँ रोती हुई चलीं। उन सबने पाण्डुपुत्र महात्मा अर्जुनका अनुगमन किया
anujam amum mahātmānaṃ pāṇḍuputraṃ dhanañjayam | tena sārdhaṃ aśva-vṛṣabha-gardabha-uṣṭra-yuktaiḥ rathaiḥ ārūḍhāḥ śoka-durbalā vṛṣṇivaṃśya-vīrāṇāṃ patnyaḥ rudantyaḥ yayuḥ | tāḥ sarvāḥ pāṇḍuputraṃ mahātmānam arjunam anujagmuḥ |
వైశంపాయనుడు పలికెను—శోకంతో కృశించిన వృష్ణివీరుల భార్యలు గుర్రాలు, ఎద్దులు, గాడిదలు, ఒంటెలతో జతచేసిన బండ్లు మరియు రథాలలో కూర్చొని విలపిస్తూ బయలుదేరారు. వారు అందరూ పాండుపుత్రుడు మహాత్ముడు ధనంజయుడు అర్జునుని అనుసరించారు.
