आहत्य च यशो दीप्त॑ सुयुद्धेनात्मनो भुवि । विसृज्य शरवर्षाणि प्रताप्य च दिशो दश
Transliteration
āhatya ca yaśo dīptaṁ suyuddhenātmano bhuvi | visṛjya śaravarṣāṇi pratāpya ca diśo daśa
Translation
శల్యుడు పలికెను—ఈ భూమిపై సుయుద్ధముచే అతడు తనకు దివ్యమైన యశస్సును సంపాదించెను; శరవర్షములను కురిపించి దశదిశలలో తన ప్రతాపమును ప్రకటించెను।
