वध्यमानापि यत् कर्ण नाजहू रणमूर्धनि । वहाँ हमलोगोंने पांचाल वीरोंका यह अद्भुत पराक्रम देखा कि वे मारे जानेपर भी युद्धके मुहानेपर कर्णको छोड़कर पीछे न हटे
vadhyamānāpi yat karṇa nājahū raṇamūrdhani |
సంజయుడు పలికెను— ఓ కర్ణా! వారు వధింపబడుచున్నా రణముఖమును విడువలేదు. అక్కడ మేము పాంచాల వీరుల అద్భుత పరాక్రమమును చూచితిమి— వారు కోయబడుచున్నా యుద్ధముఖమునుండి వెనుదిరగలేదు; కర్ణుని విడిచి వెనుకకు కూడా పోలేదు।
