तां तु सेनां भुशं विद्ध्वा द्रावयित्वार्जुन: शरै: । प्रायादभिमुख: पार्थ: सूतानीकं हि मारिष,मान्यवर नरेश! उस सेनाको अपने बाणोंसे अत्यन्त घायल करके भगा देनेके पश्चात् कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन कर्णकी सेनाके सामने चले
tāṃ tu senāṃ bhṛśaṃ viddhvā drāvayitvārjunaḥ śaraiḥ | prāyād abhimukhaḥ pārthaḥ sūtānīkaṃ hi māriṣa ||
మారిషా! ఆ సేనను తన బాణాలతో ఘోరంగా గాయపరచి పారద్రోలిన తరువాత కుంతీపుత్రుడు పార్థుడు అర్జునుడు సూతానీకం (కర్ణుని రథదళం) వైపు నేరుగా సాగెను।
