युधिष्ठिरस्य धनंजय-प्रति गर्हा
Yudhiṣṭhira’s Reproach to Dhanaṃjaya
स राजगृद्धिभी रुद्ध: पाण्डुपाज्चालकेकयै: । नाशकत् तानकिक्रान्तुं मृत्युर्रह्म विदो यथा
sa rājagṛddhibhī ruddhaḥ pāṇḍupāñcālakekayaiḥ | nāśakat tān atikrāntuṁ mṛtyur brahmavido yathā ||
రాజును కాపాడదలచిన పాండవులు, పాంచాలులు, కేకయులు కర్ణుణ్ణి చుట్టుముట్టి అడ్డగించారు. బ్రహ్మవేత్తలను మృత్యువు దాటలేనట్లే, మహావీరుడైన కర్ణుడు కూడా ఆ రక్షావలయాన్ని ఛేదించి ముందుకు సాగలేకపోయాడు.
