अर्जुनस्य द्रोणिप्रतिघातः कर्णोपसर्पणं च

नानाबाणनिपाताश्ष द्विपाश्वरथनि:स्वन: । सिंहनादश्न॒ वीराणामभवद् दारुणस्तदा

nānābāṇanipātāś ca dvipāśvarathaniḥsvanaḥ |
siṃhanādaś ca vīrāṇām abhavad dāruṇas tadā ||
ఆ సమయంలో అక్కడ నానావిధ బాణాల పతనం, ఏనుగుల గర్జన, గుర్రాల హీంస, రథాల గరగర ధ్వని, వీరుల సింహనాదం—ఇవన్నీ కలసి భయంకరమైన ఘోషగా మారి మోగాయి।
