अर्जुनस्य द्रोणिप्रतिघातः कर्णोपसर्पणं च

आरोप्य स्वरथं तूर्णमपोवाह रणातुरम् । तब दुःशासनने वृषसेनको रथ और अस्त्र-शस्त्रोंसे हीन हुआ देख उसे रणसे व्याकुल हुआ मानकर तुरंत ही अपने रथपर बिठा लिया और वहाँसे दूर हटा दिया
sañjaya uvāca | āropya svarathaṃ tūrṇam apovāha raṇāturam |
సంజయుడు పలికెను—వృషసేనుడు రథమూ ఆయుధములూ లేనివాడై ఉన్నదాన్ని చూసి, యుద్ధవేదనతో కలవరపడినవాడని భావించిన దుఃశాసనుడు వెంటనే అతనిని ఎత్తి తన రథముపై కూర్చోబెట్టి, ఆ ప్రమాదస్థలమునుండి దూరంగా తీసుకుపోయెను।
