शल्य उवाच यन्मां ब्रवीषि गान्धारे अग्रे सैन्यस्य मानद । विशिष्ट देवकीपुत्रात्‌ प्रीतिमानस्म्यहं त्वयि

Transliteration

śalya uvāca — yan māṃ bravīṣi gāndhāre agre sainyasya mānada | viśiṣṭaḥ devakīputrāt prītimān asmy ahaṃ tvayi ||

Translation

శల్యుడు అన్నాడు—ఓ మానదా, గాంధారీనందనా! సమస్త సైన్యముందు నన్ను దేవకీపుత్రుడు శ్రీకృష్ణునికన్నా విశిష్టుడని నీవు ప్రకటించినప్పుడు, నేను నీపై ఎంతో ప్రసన్నుడనై ఉంటాను.
