संजय उवाच एवमुक्त्वा महाराज शल्य: समितिशोभन: । उत्थाय प्रययौ तूर्ण राजमध्यादमर्षित:,संजय कहते हैं--महाराज! ऐसा कहकर युद्धमें शोभा पानेवाले शल्य अमर्षमें भर गये और राजाओंके बीचसे उठकर तुरंत चल दिये

sañjaya uvāca evam uktvā mahārāja śalyaḥ samitiśobhanaḥ | utthāya prayayau tūrṇaṃ rājamadhyād amarṣitaḥ ||

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—మహారాజా, అలా చెప్పి యుద్ధానికి శోభనుడైన శల్యుడు ఆగ్రహంతో ఉప్పొంగి, రాజుల మధ్యనుండి లేచి త్వరగా వెళ్లిపోయాడు।
