दुर्योधन उवाच एवमेतत् करिष्यामि यथा त्वं कर्ण मन्यसे । सोपासज्ा रथा: साथ्वा: स्वनुयास्यन्ति संयुगे,दुर्योधन बोला--कर्ण! जैसा तुम ठीक समझते हो उसीके अनुसार यह सारा कार्य मैं करूँगा। युद्धस्थलमें अनेक तरकसोंसे भरे हुए बहुत-से अश्वयुक्त रथ तुम्हारे पीछे-पीछे जायँगे
duryodhana uvāca: evam etat kariṣyāmi yathā tvaṃ karṇa manyase | sopāsajā rathāḥ sāśvāḥ svānuyāsyanti saṃyuge ||
దుర్యోధనుడు అన్నాడు—కర్ణా! నీవు యథోచితమని భావించినట్లే నేను చేస్తాను. యుద్ధమధ్యంలో సరుకులు, సహాయక సామగ్రితో సిద్ధమైన అశ్వయుక్త రథాలు అనేకం నీ వెనుక వెనుక సాగుతాయి.
