अध्याय २९: कर्णस्य शल्यं प्रति शापस्मरणं च युद्धनिश्चयः | Chapter 29: Karṇa recalls curses to Śalya and declares resolve for battle
वादित्रशब्दैर्विविधै: सिंहनादै: सगर्जिति: । परानुपहसन्तश्न स्तुवन्तश्नाच्युतार्जुनी,राजन! दिनके अन्तमें कौरवोंके हट जानेपर पाण्डव भी विजय पाकर प्रसन्नचित्त हो भाँति-भाँतिके बाजोंकी आवाज, सिंहनाद और गर्जनाके द्वारा शत्रुओंका उपहास और श्रीकृष्ण तथा अर्जुनकी स्तुति करते हुए अपने शिविरको लौट गये
vāditraśabdair vividhaiḥ siṃhanādaiḥ sagarjitaiḥ | parān upahasantaś ca stuvantaś cācyutārjunau rājann |
సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—రాజా, దినాంతానికి కౌరవులు వెనుదిరిగినప్పుడు పాండవులు కూడా పైచేయి సాధించి హర్షభరిత హృదయాలతో తమ శిబిరానికి తిరిగివెళ్లారు. నానావిధ వాద్యధ్వనులు, సింహనాదాలు, గర్జనతో కూడిన ఉద్ఘోషాలతో వారు శత్రువుల వెనుకడుగును పరిహసిస్తూ అచ్యుతుడైన శ్రీకృష్ణుని మరియు అర్జునుని స్తుతించారు; అలాగే విజయం కేవలం బలంతోనే కాదు, దృఢ నాయకత్వం మరియు ఏకనిష్ఠ ఐక్యతతో నిలుస్తుందని ప్రకటించారు.
