Transliteration

tataḥ śara-sahasrāṇi prādurāsan viśāmpate

Translation

సంజయుడు పలికెను—అప్పుడు, ఓ ప్రజాపతీ, వేలాది బాణాలు అకస్మాత్తుగా ప్రత్యక్షమై యుద్ధభూమిని నింపివేశాయి. పోరు ఉద్ధృతమవుతుండగా, యుద్ధంలో మానవ సంకల్పం ఎంత వేగంగా ఘోర హింసగా మారుతుందో స్పష్టమైంది.
