Adhyāya 18 — Sequential Duels and Formation Pressure
Ulūka–Yuyutsu; Śakuni–Sutasoma; Kṛpa–Dhṛṣṭadyumna; Kṛtavarmā–Śikhaṇḍin
वासितार्थे युयुत्सन्तो वृषभा वृषभं यथा । निपतन्त्यर्जुनं शूराःशतशो5थ सहस्रश:
vāsitārthe yuyutsanto vṛṣabhā vṛṣabhaṃ yathā | nipatanty arjunaṃ śūrāḥ śataśo 'tha sahasraśaḥ ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—వాసనచేత ఉద్దీప్తులై, యుద్ధేచ్ఛతో ఉవ్విళ్లూరుతూ శూరులు వందలుగా, వేలుగా అర్జునునిపై దూకిరి; యెట్లనగా కామోన్మత్త వృషభములు ఒక వృషభముపై పడి దాడి చేయునట్లు।
