ततस्तु त्वरयन् योधान् शड्खशब्देन मारिष । कर्णो निष्कर्षयामास कौरवाणां महद् बलम्,मान्यवर! तदनन्तर शंखध्वनिके द्वारा योद्धाओंको जल्दी करनेका आदेश देते हुए कर्णने कौरवोंकी विशाल वाहिनीको शिविरोंसे बाहर निकाला
tatastu tvarayan yodhān śaṅkhaśabdena māriṣa | karṇo niṣkarṣayāmāsa kauravāṇāṃ mahad balam ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—అనంతరం, ఓ గౌరవనీయుడా! శంఖనాదంతో యోధులను త్వరపరచుతూ కర్ణుడు కౌరవుల మహాసేనను శిబిరం నుండి బయటకు నడిపించాడు. అతని సంకేతం, ఆజ్ఞతో సమస్త దళం యుద్ధాభిముఖంగా కదిలింది.
