स तथा पूज्यमानस्ते पूर्वदेहे5प्यतूतुषत् । पुष्कलांश्व वरान् प्रादात् तव विद्वन् हृदि स्थितान्,विद्वन्! इस प्रकार पूर्वजन्मके शरीरमें तुझसे पूजित होकर भगवान् शंकर बड़े प्रसन्न हुए थे और उन्होंने तुझे बहुत-से मनोवांछित वर प्रदान किये थे
sa tathā pūjyamānas te pūrvadehe 'py atūtuṣat | puṣkalān śubha-varān prādāt tava vidvan hṛdi sthitān ||
ఇలా పూర్వజన్మ దేహంలో నీవు పూజించగా భగవాన్ శంకరుడు అత్యంత ప్రసన్నుడయ్యాడు; ఓ విద్వన్, నీ హృదయంలో కోరుకున్న అనేక మంగళకర వరాలను ఆయన నీకు ప్రసాదించాడు.
