Shloka 173

नान्य: पाज्चाल्यपुत्रेभ्यो विद्यते भुवि पापकृत्‌ *वास्तवमें भीष्मका वध करनेवाला भी तेरा महान्‌ पापाचारी भाई ही है। इस पृथ्वीपर पांचालराजके पुत्रोंके सिवा दूसरा कोई ऐसा पाप करनेवाला नहीं है

nānyaḥ pāñcālyaputrebhyo vidyate bhuvi pāpakṛt

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—ఈ భూమిపై పాంచాలీ పుత్రులకన్నా వేరెవ్వరూ ఇంత ఘోర పాపకృత్యం చేసినవారు లేరు. నిజంగా భీష్మవధం చేసినవాడూ నీ ఆ మహాపాపి సోదరుడే; పాంచాలరాజు కుమారుల్ని మించిన పాపకర్త ఇక్కడ లేడు.
