द्रोणास्त्रेण महाराज वध्यमाना: परे युधि । नात्रसन्त रणे द्रोणात् सत्त्ववन्तो महारथा:,महाराज! द्रोणाचार्यके अस्त्रसे मारे जानेवाले शत्रुदलके महारथी वीर बड़े धैर्यशाली थे, अतः: वे रणभूमिमें उनसे तनिक भी भयभीत न हुए
droṇāstreṇa mahārāja vadhyamānāḥ pare yudhi | nātrāsan raṇe droṇāt sattvavanto mahārathāḥ ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—మహారాజా! ద్రోణాస్త్రంతో యుద్ధంలో సంహరింపబడుతున్నప్పటికీ ప్రత్యర్థి పక్షంలోని మహారథులు అపార ధైర్యశాలులు; అందుచేత రణభూమిలో వారు ద్రోణుని గూర్చి కణమాత్రమూ భయపడలేదు.
