यथा विसृजतश्चास्य संदधानस्य चाशुगान् । पश्यामि नान्तरं पार्थ क्षपयिष्यति नो ध्रुवम्
Translation
హే పార్థా! కర్ణుడు ఎప్పుడు బాణాన్ని ధనుస్సుపై అమర్చుతున్నాడో, ఎప్పుడు విడిచిపెడుతున్నాడో—దానిలో నాకు క్షణమాత్రం తేడా కనిపించడం లేదు; అందువల్ల అతడు నిశ్చయంగా మన సైన్యమంతటినీ సంహరించనున్నాడు।
