विह्वलं तमभिज्ञाय भर्तारें शरपीडितम् । हतो<यमिति च ज्ञात्वा सारथिस्तमपावहत्,अपने स्वामीको बाणोंसे पीड़ित एवं विह्लल जानकर और उन्हें मरा हुआ समझकर सारथि रणभूमिसे दूर हटा ले गया
vihvalaṁ tam abhijñāya bhartāraṁ śarapīḍitam | hato 'yam iti ca jñātvā sārathis tam apāvahat ||
తన స్వామి బాణాలతో తీవ్రంగా బాధపడుతూ మూర్ఛితుడై ఉన్నాడని గ్రహించి, అతడు హతుడయ్యాడని భావించిన సారథి భయభక్తులతో అతనిని యుద్ధభూమి నుండి దూరంగా తీసుకెళ్లాడు।
