तदिदं समनुप्राप्तं क्षत्तुर्नि:श्रेयसं वच: । इति संचिन्त्य ते पुत्रो नोत्तरं प्रत्यपद्यत,विदुरजीने जो कल्याणकारी वचन कहा था, उसके अनुसार ही यह संकट प्राप्त हुआ है। ऐसा सोचकर आपके पुत्रसे कोई उत्तर देते न बना
tad idaṃ samanuprāptaṃ kṣattur niḥśreyasaṃ vacaḥ | iti saṃcintya te putro nottaraṃ pratyapadyata |
“క్షత్తా (విదురుడు) చెప్పిన శ్రేయస్కరమైన మాటే యథాతథంగా నెరవేరింది”—అని ఆలోచించి, మీ కుమారునికి చెప్పడానికి ఏ సమాధానమూ దొరకలేదు।
