सुयोधनबल त्वद्य योधयिष्ये समन्तत: । विजेष्ये च रणे राजन्‌ सत्यमेतद्‌ ब्रवीमि ते

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | suyodhana-bala tv adya yodhayīṣye samantataḥ | vijeṣye ca raṇe rājan satyam etad bravīmi te |

Translation

రాజా! ఈ రోజు నేను యుద్ధభూమిలో అన్ని దిక్కులా సంచరిస్తూ సుయోధనుడు (దుర్యోధనుడు) సేనతో యుద్ధం చేస్తాను; ఆ సమరంలో విజయం కూడా సాధిస్తాను—ఇది మీకు నేను సత్యంగా చెబుతున్నాను.
