Educational Q&A

The verse highlights how collective courage and unity are strengthened through shared signals and responses: the Pāṇḍavas hear the martial tumult and answer with a joyful roar, portraying morale and steadfastness as crucial forces in a dharma-framed conflict.

A massive battlefield clamor rises—conches and the varied sounds of arrows. The Pāṇḍavas, hearing it, respond with an answering shout of joy, and the resulting triumphant resonance spreads widely across the world.
