अथोपगच्छच्छरविक्षताड़ूं पदातिनं क्रोधविषं वमन्तम् । आश्चवासयन् पार्षतो भीमसेनं गदाहस्तं कालमिवान्तकाले
athopagacchaccharavikṣatāḍhyaṃ padātinaṃ krodhaviṣaṃ vamantam | āśvāsayan pārṣato bhīmasenaṃ gadāhastaṃ kālam ivāntakāle ||
అప్పుడు పార్షతుడు (ధృష్టద్యుమ్నుడు) బాణవ్రణాలతో ఛిద్రమైన దేహముతో, క్రోధవిషాన్ని ఉమ్ముతున్నట్టు కనిపించుచు, గదను చేతబట్టి అంతకాలంలో కాలుడివలె నిలిచిన భీమసేనుని సమీపించి అతనికి ధైర్యం చెప్పెను.
