अध्याय ८० — मध्यंदिन-रणवृत्तान्तः

यानि त्वं दृष्टवान् राजन् धर्मसंकरकारिते । तव दोषात् पुरा वृत्तं द्यूतमेव विशाम्पते
yāni tvaṁ dṛṣṭavān rājan dharmasaṅkarakārite | tava doṣāt purā vṛttaṁ dyūtam eva viśāmpate ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—ఓ రాజా! ధర్మసంకరమును కలిగించిన యా విషయములను నీవు చూచితివో, అవి పూర్వము నీ దోషమువలననే జరిగెను; ఓ ప్రజానాథా! అది ద్యూతక్రీడయే।
