प्रीतिमान् हि दृढ़ कृष्ण: पाण्डवेषु यशस्थविषु । तस्माद् ब्रवीमि राजेन्द्र शमो भवतु पाण्डवै:,राजेन्द्र! भगवान् श्रीकृष्ण यशस्वी पाण्डवोंपर बहुत प्रसन्न हैं। इसीलिये मैं कहता हूँ कि पाण्डवोंके साथ तुम्हारी संधि हो जाय

prītimān hi dṛḍhaḥ kṛṣṇaḥ pāṇḍaveṣu yaśasviṣu |
tasmād bravīmi rājendra śamo bhavatu pāṇḍavaiḥ ||
యశస్సుగల పాండవులపై కృష్ణుడు దృఢంగా ప్రసన్నుడై ఉన్నాడు. అందుచేత, ఓ రాజేంద్రా, నేను చెప్పుచున్నాను—పాండవులతో శాంతి, సంధి జరగనీ.
