Five Elements, Sensory Qualities, and a Cosmographic Island
दृश्यादृश्या च भवति तत्र तत्र सरस्वती । एता दिव्या: सप्तगज्जस्त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुता:
dṛśyādṛśyā ca bhavati tatra tatra sarasvatī | etā divyāḥ saptagaṅgās triṣu lokeṣu viśrutāḥ ||
సంజయుడు చెప్పెను—అక్కడ సరస్వతి అనే నది కొన్ని చోట్ల దర్శనమిస్తుంది, మరికొన్ని చోట్ల అదృశ్యమవుతుంది. ఈ ఏడు దివ్య ప్రవాహాలు ‘సప్త గంగలు’గా మూడు లోకాలలో ప్రసిద్ధి పొందినవి.
