धृष्टय्युम्नस्तु तं दृष्टवा कलिज्ञैः समभिद्रुतम् । भीमसेनममेयात्मा त्राणायाजौ समभ्ययात्,कलिंगोंने भीमसेनपर धावा किया है, यह देखकर अनन्त आत्मबलसे सम्पन्न धृष्टद्युम्न भीमसेनकी रक्षाके लिये युद्धस्थलमें उनके पास जा पहुँचे
dhṛṣṭadyumnas tu taṃ dṛṣṭvā kaliṅgaiḥ samabhidrutam | bhīmasenam ameyātmā trāṇāyājau samabhyayāt ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—కలింగ యోధులు భీమసేనునిపై దూసుకొస్తున్నారని చూసి, అపరిమితాత్మబలముగల ధృష్టద్యుమ్నుడు అతని రక్షణార్థం యుద్ధభూమిలో అతని వైపు చేరెను.
