मार्गाश्न चरतश्षित्रं व्यस्मयन्त रणे जना: । वे बार-बार उछलते, सम्पूर्ण दिशाओंमें दौड़ते और युद्धके विचित्र पैंतरे दिखाते हुए रणभूमिमें विचरते थे। यशस्वी भीमसेनका यह पराक्रम देखकर लोगोंको बड़ा आश्चर्य होता था
sañjaya uvāca | mārgāś ca carataś citraṃ vyasmayanta raṇe janāḥ |
సంజయుడు పలికెను—రణభూమిలో అతడు విచిత్రంగా దారులు మార్చుకుంటూ సంచరించడాన్ని చూసి యుద్ధంలో ఉన్న జనులు ఆశ్చర్యంతో నిండిపోయారు. అతడు మళ్లీ మళ్లీ ఎగిరి, అన్ని దిశలకూ పరుగెత్తి, యుద్ధంలోని అపూర్వమైన పాయింట్లు చూపిస్తూ రణరంగంలో తిరిగాడు. యశస్వి భీమసేనుని ఈ పరాక్రమాన్ని చూసి అందరూ విస్మయపడ్డారు.
