सेनापतिं समाकर्ण्य श्वेतं युधि निपातितम् । तदर्थ यततां चापि परेषां प्रपलायिनाम्
senāpatiṁ samākarṇya śvetaṁ yudhi nipātitam | tadarthaṁ yatatāṁ cāpi pareṣāṁ prapalāyinām ||
సేనాపతి శ్వేతుడు యుద్ధంలో కూలిపోయాడని విని, అలాగే అదే లక్ష్యానికి శ్రమిస్తున్నప్పటికీ ఇతరులు శత్రువుల ఎదుట నుంచి పారిపోతున్నారని తెలుసుకొని—(తర్వాత ఏమైంది?)
