अभ्यधावन्त सहिता: शल्यप्रभूतयो रथा: । रथियोंमें श्रेष्ठ भीष्मको रथहीन हुआ देख शल्य आदि उत्तम महारथी एक साथ दौड़े

Transliteration

abhya-dhāvanta sahitāḥ śalya-prabhūtayo rathāḥ |

Translation

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—అప్పుడు శల్యుడు మొదలైనవారి రథాలు సమూహంగా ముందుకు దూసుకొచ్చాయి. రథయోధులలో శ్రేష్ఠుడైన భీష్ముడు రథహీనుడై ఉన్నాడని చూసి, శల్యుడు మొదలైన ఉత్తమ మహారథులు ఒకేసారి అతని రక్షణార్థం పరుగెత్తారు.
