गौरुडव्यूह-रचना तथा अर्धचन्द्र-प्रत्यव्यूह

परस्परेषां वीराणां मनांसि समकम्पयन्‌ । युद्धमें भीष्मजीके धनुषसे छूटे हुए बाणोंसे समस्त योद्धा पीड़ित हो रहे थे। उन बाणोंने परस्पर सभी वीरोंके हृदय कँपा दिये थे

paraspareṣāṃ vīrāṇāṃ manāṃsi samakampayan |

యుద్ధమధ్యంలో భీష్ముని ధనుస్సు నుండి విడిచిన బాణాలు సమస్త యోధులను బాధించాయి. ఆ బాణాలు పరస్పరం ఎదురైన వీరుల హృదయాలను కంపింపజేశాయి.
