Evening Withdrawal after Arjuna’s Counter-Advance
प्रगृहीताग्रहस्तेन वैराटिरपि दन्तिना । अभ्यद्रवत राजानं मद्राधिपतिमुत्तर:,इसी समय जिसने अपनी सूँड़को मोड़कर मुखमें रख लिया था, उस दन्तार हाथीपर आरूढ़ हो विराट-कुमार उत्तरने मद्रदेशके स्वामी राजा शल्यपर धावा किया

pragṛhītāgrahastena vairāṭir api dantinā |
abhyadravat rājānaṃ madrādhipatim uttaraḥ ||
అదే సమయంలో సొండను మడిచి ముఖం దగ్గర ఉంచుకున్న దంతియైన ఏనుగుపై ఎక్కిన విరాటకుమారుడు ఉత్తరుడు మద్రాధిపతి రాజు శల్యునిపై దూసుకెళ్లాడు.
