ततस्तेषां महास्त्राणि संवार्य शरवृष्टिभि: । ननाद बलवान कार्ष्णिर्भीष्माय विसृजन्‌ शरान्‌

Transliteration

tatas teṣāṁ mahāstrāṇi saṁvārya śaravṛṣṭibhiḥ | nanāda balavān kārṣṇir bhīṣmāya visṛjan śarān ||

Translation

అప్పుడు బలవంతుడైన కార్ష్ణి (అభిమన్యుడు) బాణవర్షంతో వారి మహాస్త్రాలన్నిటినీ అడ్డగించి, భీష్మునిపై నిరంతరం శరాలను విడిచుతూ సింహనాదం చేశాడు।
