इति श्रीमहाभारते भीष्मपर्वणि भीष्मवधपर्वणि युद्धारम्भे चतुश्नत्वारिंशो 5ध्याय: ।। ४४ ।। इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत भीष्मपर्वके अन्तर्गत भीष्मवधपर्वमें युद्धका आरम्भविषयक चौवालीसवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
