ब्रूहि चैव परं वीर केनार्थ: कि ददामि ते । एवंगते महाराज युद्धादन््यत् किमिच्छसि,वीर! तुम कुछ और बताओ, किस प्रकार तुम्हारा मनोरथ सिद्ध होगा? मैं तुम्हें क्या दूँ? महाराज! इस परिस्थितिमें युद्धवेिषयक सहयोगको छोड़कर तुम मुझसे और क्या चाहते हो?
brūhi caiva paraṃ vīra kenārthaḥ kiṃ dadāmi te | evaṃgate mahārāja yuddhād anyat kim icchasi ||
శల్యుడు పలికెను—వీరా, స్పష్టంగా చెప్పు; నీ అవసరం ఏమిటి? నేను నీకు ఏమి ఇవ్వాలి? మహారాజా, విషయం ఇంతవరకు వచ్చినప్పుడు, యుద్ధసహాయం తప్ప నీవు నన్ను ఇంకేమి కోరుతున్నావు?
