Educational Q&A

The Divine is to be recognized as the highest, most harmonizing excellence within every domain—sacred sound (Bṛhatsāman), sacred metre (Gāyatrī), auspicious time (Mārgaśīrṣa), and renewing season (spring). This trains the mind to see unity behind diversity and to ground one’s dharma in reverence and clarity.

In the midst of Arjuna’s crisis on the battlefield, the Lord continues listing His vibhūtis—eminent manifestations—so Arjuna can perceive the Lord’s presence everywhere. The examples here come from Vedic chant, poetic metre, calendrical time, and seasonal renewal.
