Karma-Saṃnyāsa–Karma-Yoga Saṃvāda

Renunciation and the Discipline of Action

देवान्‌ भावयतानेन ते देवा भावयन्तु वः । परस्परं भावयन्त: श्रेय: परमवाप्स्यथ,तुमलोग इस यज्ञके द्वारा देवताओंको उन्नत करो और वे देवता तुमलोगोंको उन्नत करें। इस प्रकार निःस्वार्थभावसे एक-दूसरेको उन्नत करते हुए तुमलोग परम कल्याणको प्राप्त हो जाओगे5

devān bhāvayatānena te devā bhāvayantu vaḥ | parasparaṁ bhāvayantaḥ śreyaḥ param avāpsyatha ||

ఈ యజ్ఞం ద్వారా మీరు దేవతలను పోషించి ఉద్ధరించండి; దేవతలు మిమ్మల్ని పోషించి ఉద్ధరిస్తారు. ఇలా పరస్పరం ఉద్ధరించుకుంటూ మీరు పరమ శ్రేయస్సును పొందుతారు.

The verse teaches reciprocal responsibility: humans uphold the divine order through yajña (selfless offering and duty), and the devas uphold humans through protection and prosperity. Mutual support, rather than selfish consumption, leads to the highest welfare (śreyas).
