Educational Q&A

Victory is portrayed as the fruit of dharmic resolve supported by the divine: the hero (Nara) succeeds because he acts with steadfast courage while being aided by Nārāyaṇa, symbolizing that righteous action aligned with the Supreme becomes irresistible.

A divine voice (the Goddess) addresses the Pāṇḍava—understood as Arjuna—foretelling that he will soon defeat his enemies, grounding this assurance in his identity as Nara and in the presence of Nārāyaṇa as his helper.
