भीमसेनो गदां भीमां प्रकर्षन्‌ परिघोपमाम्‌ | प्रचकर्ष महासैन्यं दुराधर्षो महामना:,दुर्जय वीर महामनस्वी भीमसेन हाथमें परिघके समान मोटी एवं भयंकर गदा लिये अपने साथ विशाल सेनाको खींचे लिये जा रहे थे

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | bhīmaseno gadāṃ bhīmāṃ prakarṣan pari ghopamām | pracakārṣa mahāsainyaṃ durādharṣo mahāmanāḥ ||

Translation

మహామనస్కుడూ, దుర్జయుడూ అయిన భీమసేనుడు పరీఘసమానమైన భయంకర గదను లాగుచూ ముందుకు దూసుకెళ్లెను; తనతో పాటు మహాసైన్యాన్ని కూడా లాగుకుంటూ సాగెను.
