स्यन्दनेन महाहेण केतुना वृषभेण च । प्रकर्षन्नेव सेनाग्रं मागधस्य कृपो ययौ,वृषभचिह्लित ध्वजा-पताकासे युक्त बहुमूल्य रथपर बैठे हुए कृपाचार्य मगधकी श्रेष्ठ सेनाको अपने साथ लिये चल रहे थे

Transliteration

syandanena mahāheṇā ketunā vṛṣabheṇa ca | prakarṣann eva senāgraṃ māgadhasya kṛpo yayau ||

Translation

సంజయుడు పలికెను—ధ్వజముతోను వృషభచిహ్నముతోను గుర్తింపబడిన తన మహారథముపై అధిరోహించి కృపుడు, మగధసేన అగ్రభాగమును లాగుచున్నట్లుగా ముందుకు సాగెను।
