सम्पतन्तमभिप्रेक्ष्य महात्मानं पितामहम्‌

Transliteration

sampatantam abhiprekṣya mahātmānaṃ pitāmaham

Translation

సంజయుడు అన్నాడు—మహాత్ముడైన పితామహుడు భీష్ముడు యుద్ధరంగంలోకి వేగంగా దూసుకొస్తున్నాడని చూసి అందరి చూపు ఆయనపైనే నిలిచింది; యుద్ధహింస మధ్యలోనూ పూజ్యుడైన ఆ వృద్ధుడు తన ఎంచుకున్న స్వధర్మానుసారంగా కర్తవ్యానికి దిగుతున్నట్లు కనిపించాడు।
