भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः

ततोडर्जुनो जातमन्युर्वाष्णेयं वीक्ष्य पीडितम्
tato 'rjuno jātamanyur vāṣṇeyam vīkṣya pīḍitam
సంజయుడు పలికెను—అప్పుడు అర్జునునిలో కోపం రగిలెను; వాష్ణేయుడు (శ్రీకృష్ణుడు) పీడింపబడుట చూచి అతడు మరింత ఆవేశంతో ఉప్పొంగెను।
