भीष्मस्य अप्रतिमपराक्रमः — शिखण्डिपुरस्कृतः प्रहारः
Bhīṣma’s unmatched momentum and the assault with Śikhaṇḍin in the lead
अभिमन्युं महाराज यान्तं भीष्मरथं प्रति । सुदक्षिणो महाराज काम्बोज: प्रत्यवारयत्,महाराज! भीष्मके रथकी ओर अग्रसर होनेवाले अभिमन्युको काम्बोजराज सुदक्षिणने रोका
abhimanyuṁ mahārāja yāntaṁ bhīṣmarathaṁ prati | sudakṣiṇo mahārāja kāmbojaḥ pratyavārayat ||
సంజయుడు పలికెను—మహారాజా, భీష్ముని రథం వైపు దూసుకుపోతున్న అభిమన్యువును కాంబోజరాజు సుదక్షిణుడు అడ్డగించి వెనక్కు తిప్పెను।
