प्रहरास्मिन् नरव्याप्र न चेन्मोहाद् विमुहा[से । 'पार्थ! तुम्हें जिस अवसरकी अभिलाषा और प्रतीक्षा थी, वह आ पहुँचा। पुरुषसिंह! यदि तुम मोहसे मोहित नहीं हो रहे हो तो इन भीष्मपर प्रहार करो
sañjaya uvāca | prahārāsmin nara-vyāghra na cen mohād vimūhyase | pārtha! tubhyaṁ yasya avasarasya abhilāṣā ca pratīkṣā ca āsīt sa āgataḥ | puruṣa-siṁha! yadi tvaṁ mohena na mohyase tarhi etān bhīṣmaṁ prati praharā ||
“నరవ్యాఘ్రా! మోహంతో మూర్ఛితుడవు కాకపోతే ఇప్పుడే ప్రహరించు. పార్థా! నీవు కోరిన, ఎదురుచూసిన క్షణం వచ్చేసింది. పురుషసింహా! గందరగోళానికి లోనుకాకపోతే భీష్మునిపై దెబ్బలు దించు.”
